Join us and stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown neighbors and reflect on how we can undo systemic racism in our community, city and country. This is not a protest but an opportunity to come together safely and peacefully to show support for the lives of neighbors who struggle against racism in their daily lives. We request that you don’t bring signs – there will be a banner on which we invite residents to write reflections. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. For those who can’t attend, the vigil will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. More info here: https://buff.ly/2BfzP5i

Out of an abundance of caution to public safety, the Lean on Me Allston Brighton Vigil organizers have decided to postpone the event scheduled for this evening due to rain & potential thunderstorms. Instead, the vigil will take place next week – the rain date is Wednesday, July 15th 8:00-9:00pm at Sister of St. Joseph. The vigil will still be livestreamed next week. We will send updates as needed, so please keep an eye out! #LeanOnMeAB #ABCares
