“Medicine is a battle. You have to keep fighting constantly. It takes 100 percent effort all the time to save the people around you. That is what it means to me. It’s happy with what you can do but constantly fighting that battle to do better.” – Dan Creighton ’18: biochemistry major, member of the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program, captain of the Boston College Swimming and Diving Men’s Team and a winner of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Weaver-James-Corrigan Award for performing with distinction in the classroom, in sports, and in the community.
