Going Far (or High): R. Shep Melnick, O’Neill Professor of American Politics, was recently inducted into the Appalachian Mountain Club’s New Hampshire 4,000-footer Club. To qualify, members must climb all 48 of the state’s mountains that are higher than 4,000 feet. He reached the final peak, Mt. Isolation near Mt. Washington, with his son Hale LAW ’17.
